ok, back to topic..cloth diapering ni dah bermula sejak zaman dulu lagi..nenek2 kita sumer dah apply kat our parents or mungkin some of you been cloth diapered masa kecik2 dulu..do go back n check with ur mum k..alaa yang pakai kain lampin lipat segitiga tu..its just that when time pass, orang sumer asyek nak yang mudah jer kan >> maka wujudlah disposable diapers yang kemudiannya menjadi satu isu besar bukan setakat pencemaran kepada rakyat Malaysia tapi dunia!!!

rafique pakai x sampai 2 minit..seminit sempat laa kot untuk amek gambar..lepas tu dah terlondeh..i ada gambar bukti terlondeh tapi x ley upload laahh..censored!!hikhik..

memandangkan zaman information technology dan sumer orang2 dah bijak pandai dan mula sedar kesan disposable diapers kepada environment, people get back to basic >> CLOTH DIAPERING sebagai salah satu contribution untuk menyelamatkan bumi daripada kemusnahan..kata zaman dah moden kan, fesyen pun berubah..so do cloth diaper..instead of kain lampin putih yang dilipat tu, people opt for recycling the modern cloth diapers with variety of colours and cute prints!!!

hari ni, i nak share jenis2 cloth diaper yang boleh korang pilih dan berada di pasaran baik di Malaysia mahupun di mana2 negara..ni pun berdasarkan ilmu i yang x berapa nak lengkap lah..hihihi..saya budak baru belajar jugak..mari lah kita sama2 belajar..=)

1) FLATS

ni lampin kain yang biasa tu lah..perlu dilipat dan dipinkan..usually made of 100% cotton..mudah kering..murah..so, sape kata cloth diapering perlu bajet yang besar??? its just that the matter of time n kemalasan vs kerajinan jer laa kan..sekarang flats pun ada yang dah bercorak dan berwarna tau..comel ajer..

2) PREFOLDS

ok yang ni sama jugak dengan flats..bezanya flats tu 1 layer jer kain lampin while prefold adalah beberapa helai (layer) kain lampin dijahit bersama2..so, menjadi lebih tebal dan menyerap lebih banyak..kalau korang nak belajar pelbagai cara untuk lipat flat and prefolds boleh jenguk sini..ada pelbagai cara untuk lipat tau instead of the traditional way untuk lipat lampin tu..kalau x nak lipat dan pin kan boleh jugak pakai dengan cover.

3) COVER

cover ni pulak digunakan dengan flats and prefold..tujuan dia x nak bagi bocor laa lampin yang basah tu..alaaa yang kalau zaman dulu2 plastik kaler putih yang ikat kat kiri kanan tu..zaman sekarang dah ada macam2 warna, corak and jenama wraps ni tau..cantik2 sumenyer..dah x payah ikat..siap2 dah dipasang velcro tape or button..but still kalau nak go for cheaper options, i rasa x salah beli yang ikat kat tepi tu..masih ada jual kat shopping mall kot..hurmmm... they are usually made of PUL atau bahasa mudahnya plastik..^_^

4) ALL-IN-ONE (AIO)

this is the most easiest cloth diaper available..sama sebijik macam disposable diaper where both bahan penyerap (prefold) and cover had been combined together..kira built-in laa..tinggal pakai jer..cuma all-in-one ni lambat kering sket sebab bahagian penyerap tu berada bersama cover >> tebal..

5) POCKET DIAPER

yang ini paling fames amos among all i guess..banyak brand yang affordable made in China adalah dari jenis ni..nama pun pocket diaper, maka dia ada pocket dimana kita akan masukkan insert (bahagian penyerap) sebelum dipakaikan kat baby..kelebihan pocket diaper adalah dia lebih mudah kering berbanding AIO yer kawan2..usually 1 set pocket diaper will come with 2 insert..untuk kegunaan siang, masukkan 1 insert je cukup.change every 3-4 hours..untuk malam, masukkan 2 insert dan boleh bertahan sampai pagi..x perlu lagi bangun malam untuk tukar CD!!hoyeahhh!!

6) ALL-IN-TWO (AI2)

for this type, penggunaannya susah sikit daripada AIO yang terus pakai jer macam disposables tapi lebih mudah dari pocket diaper..it usually comes with a soaker..dimana kita kena pasang soaker on the cover instead of masukkan dalam poket (for pocket diaper)..lebih mudah kering..kelebihan dia adalah x perlu tukar cover for every nappy change time!!just buy extra soaker..i rasa this type is very convenient for travelling..x perlu bawak banyak2 CDs..currently interested with this type of CDs..cam best jerr..x sabar mahu beli nih..

ok habis part jenis, now we moved to cara pemakaian bagi modern cloth diapers..ada 2 jenis yer kawan2..

1) button

2) velcro-macam tape kasut sekolah

i pernah buat review about which type (velcro vs button) yang i suka..lain orang lain pandangan kan..choose what's best for you..=)

and the last part in this entry (mesti korang penat dah baca entry panjang2 ni kan) is about the size.

1) ONE SIZED

this type yang paling mudah dan menjimatkan laa..u all boleh pakai untuk baby from newborn sampai potty training..usually dia akan state 3-16kg or 3-17kg..dia ada button slots untuk larasakan size S, M, L..some boleh adjust sampai XL..tu depends laa on cutting dia..sebab dia boleh pakai dari kecik sampai besar, maka jimatlah..lets say buy 20pcs, then guna laa sampai baby besar n u dont need to spend any penny on diapering anymore!!seriously jimat wehhh..calculation penjimatan yang berlaku i ada tunjuk kat sini..cuma kekurangan jenis ni ialah kalau u all dapat baby premature or ur baby was born small..dia akan jadi longgar kat celah kangkang dia..or mungkin too big for ur premiee..

2) SIZED

jenis ni sama macam disposable lah..ada saiz..x perlu nak laras2kan saiz..dia memang ada saiz S, M,L and XL..some brands do offer premies size. tapi involve bigger budget laa..sebab bila dah cukup masa, kena tukar saiz pulak..but if u plan to cloth diapered all ur babies, sekarang baru anak first and there are 2-3 more (AT LEAST) coming soon, masih berbaloi2..taking it

Rafique 6 months milestone

alhamdulillah syukur kepada Allah S.W.T sepanjang membesarkan Rafique selama 6 months ni xde masalah yang sangat crucial..mild fever, demam campak je..normal non-life threatening diseases..biasalah for babies yang immune system not yet fully developed kan..paling teruk demam yang baru2 ni berkahak sampai kena nebulizer tuh la..syukur sangat nothing so serious..

sekarang ni Rafique tengah giat nak mengangkat bon bon nyer..nak merangkak..tapi bab "menjalar" dia memang dah hebat..menjalar pakai gear reverse sangatlah laju..gear satu dah ok, tengah usaha nak ke gear dua pulak tu..kejap jer letak, dah kemana2 perginyer..tu pasal yang sampai jatuh katil hari tu..tido pun lasak, nasib ler...lagi satu expertise dia is berpusing cam jarum jam..hehehe..comel jerr..

he's no longer angry kalau kita letak dia baring, sebab dia akan laju2 meniarap, pastu meneruskan exploration dia- berpusing, mengundur..current favourite toys adalah handphone ayah dia (sebab dia tahu tepon ibu x best, xde nursery rhymes) and remote controls..mainan lain sumer dia x layan kalau nampak this two things..

dah pandai grap things and pass toy from one hand to another..and he capture falling things too!!pastu suka sakat ayah dia, sengaja campak mainan jatuh dari katil coz he knows ayah dia akan ambilkan balik..clever boy..

his latest interest is driving!!

bukan main happy kalau dapat steering tu..

duduk..i'll say not yet fully sit on his own..he still need support..and he loves mirror sooo much!!looking at his reflection make him giggles!!!perasan hensem lah anak ibu tuuuu..

foods??i've started to give him porridge one week before he turns 6 month..BS said dia nampak lebih tenang coz his stomach is full..cuma yang i perasan he really inherit the "picky eater" traits from us..hahaha...x selera makan kalau menu yang sama..nak kena variety..so, i kena belajar more baby food recipes laa..so far i bagi porridge with broccoli, porridge with potatoes, porridge with ikan bilis..then campur pulak broccoli with ikan bilis..camtu laa lebih kurang..mashed potatoes pun kekadang i campur ngan broccoli..will go for more varieties to satisfy him..insyaallah..

erm..i have few questions here...u all bagi baby makan berapa kali sehari ek??i mean heavy meal..breakfast, lunch & dinner??breakfast and lunch??or cemane??lagi satu, pernah bagi rusk x kat baby??milna rusk or farleys rusk??i de jugak bagi as finger foods between meals..sebab Rafique macam nak menggigit..ok ke ek bagi rusk for 6 months old baby??

pukul 8 mlm gerak dari Shah Alam balik ke rumah sempat laa mengharungi jam kejap kat federal..

ramai orang yang celebrate earth hour tutup lampu rumah, pasang lampu kete kot..

anyhow, still jimatkan penggunaan elektrik jugak rite??

kalau satu rumah ada 3 orang, sorang kat bilik, sorang kat dapur, sorang kat ruang tamu dah jadi 3 lampu tak campur kipas, air-cond, blender, microwave bagai..

so, bila kuar selamat dari penggunaan sumer2 tu, just pasang lampu kete..

not bad i think..

sambung citer pasal we all..

sampai rumah around 9 camtu..

sempat laa gak bergelap dalam setengah jam..

bercandle light laa kitorang..

tapi lampu jer laa padam, air cond tetap pasang gak kat bilik coz anak bujang 6 bulan i tu tidoq..

karang x pasal jer ngamuk si kecik tu..

tahu jer laa putera lilin i tu..panas sikit dah berpeluh..

but, since ada Rafique tudung instant adalah pilihan utama i..sebab cepat dan tepat sesuai ngan namanya..=) kalau made of lycra material lagi baguss, x yah iron. i like!!

hubby pun x kesah dah sekarang sebab dia sendiri pun malas nak tunggu i iron tudung, belit2 tudung bila nak keluar..

Building Enriched Vocabulary

Succeeding in life, nowadays, requires a strong amount of vocabulary. However building such one is not so easy one-it needs perhaps, involves a huge investment of time, energy, patience, efforts, diligence and so on. In addition, lots of ways do exists to master the lexicon. Basically, it depends on the habit, nature, and interest of the person wanting to LEARN it (Largely EARN).

First of all, one has to define why she is to possess the vast world of words i.e. for what you have to do it. Like education- SAT, GMAT, GRE, Employment and so on. Then get or collect or list all the recurring and common vocabs of that field. In this seek help from a senior one.

Now try your level best to use all these in your practical life and most of all have them in your active brain vocabulary. Rehearse them, practice them, review them and do whatever you can ever do to capture them all!!

Also give a lot of exams to test your level of learning. Seek A-Z explanations for answers.
